CHAIRMAN’S
MESSAGE
Dear Members
It gives me great
pleasure to be part of the august institution and elite member’s community. I
have seen and worked with it for last 13 years. I have seen it growing and
transforming from a small group of 40-50 members to its current size of approx.
300 members. I have seen the days when we used to chase members for
participation and organizing any event. As a result of sound foundation laid by
the leadership of past chairmen and hard work of teams a culture of one group
has been built. I am fortunate that all the past chairmen are taking active
interest in all the activities of the chapter and supporting us for getting
learned speakers who are pioneers in their fields. I want to assure our members
that we will take it further farther and work towards continuous learning
process through seminars and presentations.
All such event are
approved the ICAI for CPE hours credit. Every non practicing member is now
required to earn at least 10 CPE hours credit every year while for practicing
members it is 20 CPE Hours. We are keeping track of the developments in
accounting and finance fields globally. Also we are vigilant to economic
developments in UAE as well as in
All of us are
multi talented and experts in many areas. We would like to tap the hidden
talents of our members from within our Chapter. If any of our members is willing
and good at presenting his / her knowledge, experience on professional or
general interest subjects. I invite them to put a proposal to us and we will
consider it favorably.
We are fortunate to have dedicated team of committee members. To organise any event it takes a lot of planning, administrative work. Everyone has to devote considerable amount of time from his own busy schedule and other official and social commitments
We learn from each
function we organise and it is our endeavor to improve
it further.
Over the period we
have increased number of activities. Families of our members also witnessed and
enjoyed various social activities. Beyond all our expectations during last
year's annual family dinner we witnessed attendance of over 300. Our entire
major social events are lasting memories.
During the current
year we are working on various initiative such as, DISA(Information system Audit) Course, arranging coaching for
PE-II, setting up examination centre in
No event, big or
small, can be successful without active participation of members. I would urge
all the members to take full interest in all the activities and provide us their
feedback in order to learn and improve it further.
